Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation

Physical therapy and rehabilitation software

In rehabilitation, progress is the sum of many short sessions, and if what was done at each session and where the patient stands are not visible, the plan gets lost. HekimBis ties the body region, pain, range of motion and function score to the session protocol and exercise prescription.

The plan stays visible in the flow of short sessions

In a rehabilitation center the day is a sequence of short sessions: the patient arrives, the procedure follows the protocol, a measurement is taken, and the patient leaves. The screen is kept plain for that pace; measurements are entered with a few taps, and the session protocol shows the next step.

For a patient who arrives with shoulder pain, the physiotherapist assesses, marks the region and enters the first range of motion and pain values. The physician sets the treatment plan and the number of sessions. At each session the procedure, duration and new measurement are recorded; the range-of-motion curve rises while the pain course falls. The patient sees the exercise prescription in the portal.

Pain, range of motion and function are followed together

A body region is selected (for example the shoulder); its range of motion is drawn as a goniometer arc, and each measurement leaves a mark on the arc. Beside it are the serial line of the pain score and the trend of the function score. Below, the exercise prescription is listed: exercise, sets, repetitions and frequency. Session count and attendance appear in the top strip.

Three jobs of a rehabilitation center

Body region, pain, range of motion and function fields form a defined assessment form, so measurements can be compared.

The session protocol from assessment to discharge

  1. Assessment

Region, pain, range of motion and function score are measured for the first time.

  2. Goal and plan

The goal, number of sessions and procedure plan are set.

  3. Session

The procedure applied, its duration and the device session are recorded.

  4. Exercise prescription

Exercises to do at home are given with sets and repetitions.

  5. Reassessment

Measurements are compared with the initial values.

  6. Continue or close

The plan continues or treatment is closed.

Measurement and rehabilitation devices

Range of motion and strength measurements and rehabilitation device sessions connect to the record as outputs.

Common questions about physical therapy software

Is there a separate profile for physical therapy and rehabilitation?

Yes. Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation is one of the defined clinical profiles: body region, pain, function, range of motion, session protocol, exercise prescription and progress. It is versioned and passes two separate clinical sign-offs before release.

Do device sessions arrive automatically?

For verified manufacturer, model, protocol and version entries, yes. The session summary of other devices is taken as a file or entered by hand and marked as not integrated.

How does it relate to pain medicine and rheumatology?

Pain Medicine and Rheumatology are separately defined extensions with a rehabilitation link. The same clinic can use them together with the physical therapy profile.

How does the patient see the exercise prescription?

The approved prescription is published in the patient portal. Notifications carry no health data.

Are multi-session packages and payment tracking included?

A multi-session plan, remaining sessions and payment are kept in the same record.

Can the session protocol be adapted to my clinic?

Your clinic can add its own session steps, fields and tasks. The safety fields and clinical rules in the central definition stay in place, and a signed record remains tied to the definition version it was created with.

Can the patient report the exercises done at home?

The approved prescription appears in the patient portal, and feedback is passed through the fields defined there. Notifications carry no health data and include a secure link.
