Psychiatry

Psychiatry clinic software

In psychiatry a record has to do two things at once: make the course of treatment measurable and protect the session note as much as possible. HekimBis turns validated scale scores and the medication plan into serial follow-up and keeps session notes in a separate, stricter access layer.

The record does not interrupt the session and it protects the note

In a psychiatric practice the record must not look crowded. The screen is built plain enough not to pull your attention from the patient during the session; scales are completed before or after, the score is calculated automatically and the trend is ready at the next visit.

A patient who comes for a monthly check-up completes the defined scale in the waiting room. The score is calculated and added to the trend line with earlier scores, you see how it has moved since the medication change two months ago, and you save the session note as a sensitive note. That note is open only to the authorized physician role; front desk and other clinic staff reach only appointment and payment information.

Score, threshold and medication change read on the same line

The serial scores of a validated scale are drawn along the time axis, with the scale's defined threshold bands as background. Medication start, dose change and stop marks overlay the same line. When you tap a point, the item-level answers of that day and the interpretation limit of the scale open; the scale version and source are recorded beside the point.

Three needs of a psychiatry visit

Session type and length are defined. Reminders and tasks follow absences, and messages are sent without session-type information.

A separate access layer for sensitive notes

The session note is classified apart from the rest of the clinical record. Only authorized roles see it, and care relationship, purpose and data sensitivity are assessed together. In an emergency, break-glass access asks for a reason, a duration and additional verification, and produces a separate audit record. Only content you approve is published in the patient portal.

  • Front desk and cashier see appointments and payments
  • Every access is written to the audit log
  • Break-glass access is granted with a reason and for a limited time
  • Notifications carry no type or diagnosis information

Common questions about psychiatry software

Is there a separate profile for psychiatry?

Yes. Psychiatry is one of the defined clinical profiles: session plan, validated scales, goals, serial follow-up and stricter note access segmentation. It is versioned and passes two separate clinical sign-offs before release.

Which scales are used?

Validated scales with a recorded source and usage right are used; the scale name, version and interpretation limit are versioned inside the definition. Interpreting the score belongs to the clinician.

How is voice recording managed?

Voice recording is off by default; it can be enabled only with a separate information notice and separate explicit consent, and it stops when consent is withdrawn.

Can the secretary see a sensitive note?

The note is open only to authorized roles; the front desk reaches appointment and payment information. Every access is written to the audit log.

Can online sessions be used?

Online sessions take place with the facility's permission and defined recording conditions. Session recording is off by default.

Can it be used together with the psychology profile?

Yes. Psychiatry and psychology are separately defined profiles, and the same clinic can use both.

Is there a safety warning when I prescribe?

Allergy, duplicate ingredient and interaction warnings appear as you prescribe. Warnings are advice and the decision belongs to the physician; the prescription draft is stored in the patient file.

Can the patient see their own scale results?

Content you approve is published in the patient portal. Scores and notes that are not approved do not appear in the portal, and notifications carry only a secure link.
