Pain Medicine

Pain medicine clinic software

In chronic pain treatment, progress is measured both by a numeric score and by the place the patient describes; if neither is followed over time, treatment loses direction. HekimBis turns pain scales into serial follow-up, the pain map into a timeline, and the procedure and medication plan into a link with rehabilitation.

What was tried before and how the score moved is clear at a glance

A pain patient has usually been treated for a long time; what was tried in the past and with what result is the most valuable information of the first consultation. The workspace presents that history as an ordered line: which procedure, which drug, on which date, and what changed in the score.

A patient who comes with low back pain marks the pain map and enters a score at the first visit. You see past procedures and drug trials on the timeline, plan a new procedure and prepare the consent. A patient who misses a check-up generates a task.

The score series and the pain map are followed side by side

On the body map at left, the patient and physician mark pain zones, and each zone carries an intensity score. On the right, the serial scores of a validated pain scale are drawn on the time axis; procedure dates appear as vertical marks and medication changes as small marks. The time slider returns the map to its state at a past visit.

Three needs of a pain medicine clinic

Pain scales
Validated scales are kept with source and version; the score is calculated automatically and drawn as a series.
Procedure and medication plan
The procedure plan, procedure-specific consent, medication plan and check interval sit together.
Serial follow-up
Scores, medication changes and function are on the same timeline; a patient who does not come generates a task.

Treatment linked to rehabilitation

Pain treatment is often not only a procedure but regaining function. The pain medicine record links directly to the physical therapy plan: score and function are followed together in the same patient file, and tasks and notes are shared between physicians according to permissions.

From the first assessment to continuing follow-up

  1. First assessment

The pain map, history and earlier treatments enter the record.

  2. Scale and goal

A validated scale, the starting score and the goal are set.

  3. Procedure and medication plan

The plan, consent and appointment are prepared.

  4. After the procedure

An early check-up takes place and a score is taken.

  5. Serial follow-up

The score series, medication and function are followed.

  6. Rehabilitation link

Progress continues together with the physical therapy plan.

Imaging flow in pain medicine

Pain medicine often works with images taken at other centers, so the link to files and reports matters.

Common questions about pain medicine software

FAQ
Is there a separate profile for pain medicine?

Yes. Pain Medicine is a separately defined clinical extension in the physical therapy and orthopedics families: pain scales, serial follow-up, procedure and medication plans, and the rehabilitation link. It is versioned and passes two separate clinical sign-offs before release.

Which pain scales are used?

Validated scales with a recorded source and usage right are used; the scale name, version and interpretation limit are versioned inside the definition. Interpreting the score belongs to the physician.

Can the patient enter their own score?

The scale form in the patient portal can be completed within the scope the physician defines; content shared with your approval appears in the portal. Notifications carry no health data.

How are procedure records kept?

The procedure plan, procedure-specific consent, consumables used and the check interval are kept in the record. The consent text is versioned; a signed consent does not change later.

How are images used?

Images and reports attach to the patient file, and the HekimBis viewer is for clinical assessment and comparison.

Is my device supported?

Device connections are verified per manufacturer, exact model, protocol and version, and the verified ones are listed. A file from a source that is not on the list is imported with a note that it is not integrated.

Can it be used together with orthopedics and physical therapy?

Yes. A clinic can use several packs together, and the patient stays in the same file.
