Pediatric clinic software
A child patient always comes with a parent or guardian, measurements are read against age, and care is a growth story that spans years. HekimBis builds that structure from the start: the parent relationship, birth history, percentile curves and vaccination tracking share one file.
A child's story starts at birth
In a pediatric exam you read a measurement against the child's age and earlier measurements, not on its own. That is why the patient card opens with the pregnancy and birth history, and every visit adds height, weight and, when needed, head circumference to the curve. The parent is a separate person in the record as contact and consent holder; access to the child's file and notification follow that relationship.
When a nine-month-old comes for a routine check, the nurse enters the measurements; when you look at the screen, the trend of height and weight across percentile bands, the head circumference and the last vaccine date are in front of you. You add the feeding note, plan the date of the next vaccine, and the reminder reaches the parent as a secure message with no patient information.

Growth within percentile bands
Percentile bands are drawn along the age axis for height, weight and head circumference, and each measurement is added to the curve as a point. A validated curve suited to sex and age is selected. The line joining the points shows the child's own course while the bands show the reference; tap a point to open the measurement date, who measured it and the related visit.

Working areas of a pediatric clinic
Each working area is organized around the child's age and the parent's role.
Parent and guardian record
The parent or guardian is recorded as a separate person; contact, consent and portal access follow that relationship.
Pregnancy and birth history
Delivery type, week and first measurements sit in the first section of the patient card.
Growth and development tracking
Height, weight, head circumference and developmental notes are added to the curve at every visit.
Age-based vital signs
Pulse, respiration and blood pressure references are shown for the child's age.
Feeding and vaccination plan
The feeding note and the vaccination and follow-up plan are tied to reminders and tasks.
Parent information documents
Information and consent documents are produced for the parent's signature; disclosure and explicit consent for the child are separate records.
Measurement surface in pediatrics
Most measurements are entered once in the clinic, and values from a device can replace manual entry.
- Height, weight and head circumference devices
- The measurement goes straight onto the growth curve.
- Laboratory trends
- Results and trends appear with age-based reference ranges.
- Vital sign devices
- Temperature, pulse and saturation are carried into the visit.
- Vaccination card and document scanner
- An image of an outside vaccination card is added to the file.
A record that moves together with the parent
A child patient is informed through the parent, and you see at record level which information goes through which channel. Results and documents are published in the portal once you approve them, and notifications carry no health data. If the parent relationship changes in the child's file, the old relationship is kept with its history.
- The parent's communication preference and quiet hours are respected
- Consent is kept as a separate record according to the parent's authority
- A vaccination reminder goes out with a secure link
Common questions about pediatric software
Is there a separate clinical profile for pediatrics?
Yes. Pediatrics is one of the defined clinical profiles: parent and guardian, pregnancy and birth history, growth and development, percentiles, age-based vitals, feeding and vaccination tracking. It is versioned and passes two separate clinical sign-offs before release.
Which growth charts are used?
Validated growth curves with a recorded source and usage right are used; which curve is selected for which age range is versioned inside the definition. Interpreting the curve belongs to the physician.
How does communication with parents work?
Messages follow the parent's communication preferences, carry no health data and include a secure link. Disclosure, explicit consent and clinical consent are separate records.
How does vaccination tracking work?
The vaccination and follow-up plan is kept in HekimBis and tied to reminders. The fields required for national data submission are held in the core with a versioned mapping.
Is my height and weight device supported?
Device connections are verified per manufacturer, exact model, protocol and version, and the verified ones are listed. A measurement from a device that is not on the list is entered by hand or taken as a file and imported with a note that it is not integrated.
