The solo practice solution brings order when you work alone

If in your practice the physician, front desk, cashier and archive clerk are the same person, what you expect from software is simple: reduce the work, cause no losses, and not make you start over when you build a team. The HekimBis Lite package is built for exactly one physician and a small team.

The physician's day: who does which job?

Physician at the reception desk closing out the day after the last patient

Software choice often starts with a feature list, but in a one-physician practice the real question is who is carrying this job right now. At every hour of the day the same person works in a different role.

  • 08:30, opening

Today's list, pending results and open balances are on the same screen.

  • 09:00 to 12:30, physician

The patient card, specialty exam form, automatic saving, signature and lock carry the physician's work.

  • 12:30, front desk

Missed calls and messages are collected in one list, and appointment requests go straight into the diary.

  • 13:30 to 17:30, physician and cashier

Test orders, prescription drafts and payments are done from the same screen.

  • 18:00, accountant and archive

The day's payments, tomorrow's list and the patients to recall are ready.

  • Month end, manager

The revenue, collection, no-show and occupancy report comes from the same records.

This flow shows three ways to reduce a solo physician's work. The first is to type once: the exam that grows out of an appointment, the charge that grows out of the exam, the balance reminder that grows out of the charge. The second is to put reminders under a rule: for no-shows, follow-up times and debts, the physician does not have to remember, the system reminds. The third is to shorten closing: at the end of the day one view is read instead of gathering things piece by piece. See Practice management software for the same day described by function.

Another risk of working alone is continuity: you do not want the clinic to stop when the physician takes leave or falls ill. Leave blocks, automatic replies to patient messages and the mobile diary are for this. See Appointments and calendar and CRM Mobile.

What the Lite package includes for one physician and a small team

Lite is designed for one physician and a very small team. The package includes one physician and three staff seats and one specialty profile; as needs grow, staff can rise to five and specialty profiles to three with added capacity. See Pricing for current prices.

The content is as follows: the secure core for patients, appointments and exams; basic lead tracking; ready-made automations; basic accounts and payments; simple supply tracking; basic daily reporting; the patient portal (booking, forms, consent, published results and messages); the physician's daily mobile core; ready roles for a small team; a verified physician profile and a real calendar slot. AI assistance comes with an optional usage quota. Device connection is added with a separate Edge Connector capacity for supported devices; a one-physician practice can use devices too. See Device connections.

When a second physician or a second branch arrives, the package is upgraded. The number of patient, appointment and exam records does not depend on the package.

Three areas that are complete in Lite too

A package being affordable does not mean it gives up security. The three areas below are the same in every package.

  • Security

Role-based access, the audit trail, signed-record protection, backup and isolation between organizations are the same in Lite. The privacy notice, explicit consent and clinical consent are kept as separate records. See Security and KVKK-compliant patient tracking.

  • Daily reporting

Daily views of occupancy, no-shows, payments and revenue are in Lite; advanced operations, finance and clinical reports open in Pro. See Reporting.

  • Export

An authorized user can export their own data securely; downgrading a package does not delete data. Mandatory national data submission, for facilities in scope, does not differ by package either.

In a one-physician practice, security is often the subject thought about least, because the decision maker and the user are the same person trying to keep up during the day. That is why none of the security features has to be switched on separately or bought: signature, lock, the audit trail and backup work from the first day.

Getting started: the seven-day trial

No credit card or computer installation is needed to start. The flow has five steps: account and e-mail code, business and billing details, phone verification, a seven-day trial, then a decision. The trial workspace shows the capabilities of Lite on sample data. To continue, organization verification, the contract and payment are completed. See How it works and Free patient tracking software for details.

The growth path is clear too: Pro for a second physician or more staff, Clinic for a second branch. An upgrade is a change of permissions on the same patient files; data is not moved again. See Clinic and polyclinic solution and Solutions.

A practical plan for the seven-day trial: on day one open the account, choose your specialty profile and set up the service list and the diary. On day two register three sample patients, book appointments, and cancel one to try the waiting list. On day three write an exam, sign it and try a correction. On day four look at the privacy notice, explicit consent and procedure consent forms and walk through the reminder rules. On day five try payments, installments and the end-of-day cash desk. On day six open the mobile diary and see the daily reports. On day seven decide whether Lite is enough for you. Because you enter no real data, these seven days carry no risk for patient privacy.

Frequently asked questions

Which package suits a solo physician?

Lite. If you work with one physician and three staff, or up to five with added capacity, Lite is enough; when a second physician is added you move to Pro.

Which Lite features open in Pro?

Features for the scale of a team, such as advanced reports, custom roles, stock with lot and expiry dates and the full lead pipeline, are in Pro and above. Security, backup, the audit trail and export are the same in every package.

Is my practice within e-Nabız scope?

The scope depends on the type of facility and needs a legal opinion. For practices in scope, the mandatory minimum submission is managed inside the product. See e-Nabız integrated software.

How do I move from paper or Excel?

With a preview, a trial import and reconciliation; real data transfer happens after production activation. See Data migration.

I work alone and cannot keep up with calls and messages; what helps?

Reminders go out automatically, missed calls and messages are collected in one list, and appointment requests are entered into the diary. The physician looks at them in spare time. See Patient messaging.

Can a one-physician practice use devices?

Yes. Edge Connector capacity for supported devices is added on top of Lite, and device data is attached to the patient file.
